Wesley apologizes - but is also hailed by veteran

Wesley Sneijder regrets his action, but he also receives praise from some one who also played in Ajax, Real Madrid and Inter Milan - Clarence Seedorf. The AC Milan Veteran hails Sneijder's impact on Inter Milan.
The former Nerazzurri player hailed his compatriot's impact at the club. AC Milan midfielder Clarence Seedorf looked back on this past weekend's city derby with disappointment, admitting that Inter were the better side. The Rossoneri had the chance to cut the Nerazzurri's lead at the top of the table to just three points against an Inter side that played the majority of the match with ten men, but they fell to a 2-0 defeat.
Seedorf said to Goal.com.Italia: "Inter are playing in a very strong manner, attacking from the start."
One of the controversial aspects of the game was the sending off of Inter midfielder Wesley Sneijder mid-way through the first-half. The Dutchman did not speak about the incident, but did praise his compatriot for being a decisive playmaker.
"They have an extraordinary player now. Sneijder makes a real difference and is adding great quality to their team," he concluded.
To his website and all his fans Sneijder has this statement:
"It was really stupid of me. I harmed the whole team and myself by this action. Though I learned from this mistake."
