Storm in a teacup

During training today, there was an unfortunate incident when Robin van Persie landed hard on my ankle. I was in a lot of pain at first, but after a precautionary visit to the hospital it turns out it’s not as bad as it looked.

It was a scare at first, and I'm now going to have a rest. I know Robin didn’t intend this to happen and I don't blame him. It’s just what happens sometimes when you have the tough battles that we have in our training sessions. Each and every player is very eager to show his best.

Everyone is trying their best to win a place in the starting line-up. I’m just glad it turned out to be a storm in a teacup.
