Jose Mourinho has taken a swipe at Real Madrid over their treatment of Wesley Sneijder. Mourinho admits the August arrival has been revelation and cannot understand why Real refused to back him last season.
"We are dependent on Wesley Sneijder, no doubt about it," said Mourinho. "He has a style which is unique for our squad, without him we are a different team. Strange that a player who is fundamental for us managed only the bench at Real Madrid..."
